MANAGING PARTNER

Joshep hails from a background in finance in which he holds a B.Comm. (Finance & Management) from the University of Melbourne, with a broad spectrum of experience in the M&A, Venture Capital and Private Equity roles in Malaysia, Singapore & Australia prior to entering the renewable energy industry in 2016.

Joshep oversaw a regional (ASEAN) solar development pipeline of RM1.6 billion, and a bio-energy (biomass & biogas) development pipeline of RM117 million, as part of an on-going RM2.73 billion masterplan.

Prior to Gagasan, was attached to a leading Malaysian Solar Energy Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Consultation Company (EPCC) with an annual turnover of RM90 million. During this time, Joshep oversaw the firm's business development and investment arms, securing RM76 million (GDV) in C&I deals, and securing a cumulative RM625 million in solar capital commitments for the Large Scale Solar (LSS) segment, from local and international investors.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Cassandra is a commercial operations specialist, having over 7 years of extensive experience in establishing operations frameworks and translating strategic direction into business outcomes across a diverse industries.

She possesses a distinctive prowess for achieving business growth underpinned by broad commercial acumen, stemming from her exposure within different industries; government, management consulting, solar energy, real estate and global e-commerce. With her extensive cross-functional leadership experience across multiple business functions, ranging from operations, projects, finance, human resources and marketing; she ensures that businesses run seamlessly while delivering significant impact.

Cassandra began her career with the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), under the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia, helping to implement federal policies and communications strategies under the National Transformation Programme (NTP).

She then moved into senior management roles, laying the foundational company policies within the solar energy (RM76m GDV), real estate (RM20m GDV), and cross border e-commerce (RM17.5m turnover) industries prior to joining Gagasan Solar.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Ryan has led 11MWp (GDV RM27.5m) in Commercial & Industrial solar investment deals with Gagasan Solar. He has extensive history in infrastructure project management, and stakeholder management.

Prior to joining Gagasan, he was with Paramount Property Group, where he led a team of 15 and managed RM15 million (GDV) of design and build across major construction projects, including 5 Co-labs Coworking spaces, Dewakan and the refurbishment of Menara Shell. He was also previously with Sunway Group, where he led & managed the interior designing of RM1.6 billion (GDV) across 5 development projects, including Sunway Velocity Mall, directly managing a team of 5, and approximately 10 subcontractors.
